have you thought about powder coating?? I've painted wheels before and it just never seems to take the abuse of daily driving. Even if you're trying to match specific colors you might give it a shot, they can do some amazing things these days. Good luck

I wanted to pc, but finding someone to do it in my area has proven impossible!! I thought if I did paint, I could always strip it if I did not like it.

Yes but they would def have to be preped well and then the paint wouldnt hold up. Get them sandblasted and powdercoated. There are actually 4 or 5 places in my town that does it. Seek out a powdercoater and you wont be sorry.
