Question-
Can you run a 275/40/18 up front and a 295/35/18 in the rear and not have any issues with the traction control? I have a 97 so I don't have active handling, but I want to make sure these sizes would have the required diameter difference for the computer not to be pissed off and go into limp home mode...

The 295/35 is shorter in height than the 275/40. You need to keep the rear tires taller than the fronts to keep TC from interfering.
A 265/35/18 front is the best match for 295/35/18 rears.
