Default Sport Seat Air Bladder Problem.

Any of you guys had the bladder or pump go bad in your sport seats? My passenger side seat, The side bolsters will stay out for a couple of days, and then Ill go out for a drive and they will be all the way in. Ill put them back out and a couple of days later the same thing. What do you guys think/ A cracked hose / A bad bladder / Or bad pump motor? Have any of you had this problem and what did you do to fix it? Thanks Rick

Cracked line or crack in the bladder itself. BTW, the bladders are very, very expensive.

we really need a reasonable aftermarket alternative. all 4 of mine are broken, the plastic fitting disintegrated so it just cracked right off. the pump is fine and works great, but the bladders leak air immediately.

i just replaced all 8 bladders in my 99 with blood pressure cuffs. the plastic elbows that connect the bags to the hoses rot and fall apart. i took some photos along the way and will try to post them soon. it is not very difficult not expensive and you do not have to pull the seats out of the car.

Walmart has an extra large blood pressure cuff for just under $10 listed on their web site. looks like it doesn't have the regulator or anything on it. just put it in position, cut the tubing to the right length, then use some vacuum tight barbed connectors which you can get at advance auto and I think we'd be in business. still interested to see the pics, but this looks like a quick and simple way to solve this very common problem!
