Hi all
On my 99 vert the PO had a vortex ramair intake put on.The IAT sensor has never had a connection in the two years I have owned the car(there is not even a spare wire that I can find that would logically go to this unused connection)The car runs great with no codes.Should I buy a sensor and try to trace out some wires to hook it up?
Thanks Greg Cook

***edit**** God I'm brain dead this morning....sorry....year is stated in the first three words..
So, you have an IAT hole in the air intake, but you cannot find a connector for it.?... It's got to be hiding there somewhere. Just curious, how many wires go to your MAF connector?

Hi
Ihave three wires going to the MAF but there are two wires going to the right hand forward side of the air bridge.Possibly this may be the"relocated" IAT?
Thanks for your reply

Ok, I was just making sure someone had not converted to a 5 wire MAF. Trace the two wires out, what color are they, and where do they lead?
Upon futher inspection I found that the IAT connector was hooked up to the lead going to the right hand forward side of the air inlet bridge;this appears to be a correct thing to do(moving the IAT sensor away from the engine heat). Thanks for taking the time to respond to my concerns.
Best regards
