Oil pressure gauge question.???

So normaly, my oil pressure gauge would read 35psi to 40psi...

Here is what changed, yesterday I unpluged the battery, and hooked it back up a few hours later.

Now at idle the gauge is still around 33 to 35 but when I get on it she will rise to 40+ and I got up to 63psi at redline ..... I dont remember that ever happening.....

Is my gauge sender going out? or am I just nuts???

car is stock no cam no nothing.

Your oil pressure should increase with RPM, so 50 or 60 is not unusual.
Guess you were watching something else besides the oil pressure in the past.
