can't unlatch headlight bulb
I'm afraid of breaking the housing turning on it as hard as I have. I even got ahold of it with a pair of pliers and just can't get it.
I've got the other three so I know I'm going the right direction.
I'm at a point of considering removing the entire headlight pop-up door assembly.
Any suggestions?
After several hours of frustration trying to do a 15 minute job changing headlight bulbs, I finally broke down and removed the headlight covers and then the headlight housings themselves.
What I found kinda suprised me and at the same time frustrated me that something this stupid would be done.
The metal rings that the headlight bulbs lock into have a small white numbered sticker on them.
Drivers side (left) headlight housing:
High beam # 9676 Counterclockwise (CCW) rotation to remove the bulb
Low beam # 8076 CCW rotation to remove the bulb.
Passengers Side (right) headlight housing:
High beam # 9675 CCW rotation to remove the bulb
Low beam # 8075 CLOCKWISE rotation to remove the bulb.
YES, Clockwise rotation to remove the right side low beam bulb. I couldn't believe it (and still can't) but sure enough.
Why would GM do such a stupid thing?

I guess to keep us alert, so we just get smarter all the time.
