Default Can anyone showme.... (lugnutlock)...SOLVED

Im at my wits end---

just used my keylock (found in the centerwell under the hatch/cover) and read the manual...

Im trying to relocate the lugnut lock to its original position, and cannot find the indent on the "left side frame" they speak of.

Ive peeled back every area possible to find this 'indent' and have had no luck.

Dunno why i have todo this, but i figured someone can either show me a pic or help describe it better than the book does.

sorry for the noob question, but im in effort to have this vette as it once was. -

Should be under driver's side rear storage cover, between it and the center panel I believe.

yes,

the three storage compartments at the back of your hatch, remove the leftmost one. on the top of the "wall" between the leftmost compartment and the big on in the middle is a small cradle indent just the size of the wheel lock key. its supposed to fit right in there.

of course that's the first place a thief will look for it also if that thief knows anything about C5's, so alternate locations aren't really a bad thing.

Edit: I didn't think the FRC's had it, but I never tore up the carpet to look for it. My lugnut lock was in the center well, when I bought the car. You learn something every day.
