HELP Static

i am now having static in my add-on CD player and my add-on XM Sat radio..can anyone suggest a fix? might it be another ground issue?

It might be, what are you using to feed the audio to the radio?

thanks Byron, i am using an fm modulator rather than a direct line..this may be it?

thanks, Byron, i will give it a try ... any electronics outlet? or only at a dealer since it is labeled GM10?

I never seen it local, I had to order on line. Google "GM10-AUX". Sometimes on big auction site. IMPORTANT, it plugs in, inthe place of the factory CD changer in the back. If you don't have the cable to the back, it is expensive. Short time ago, someone on this forum had the adapter and cable for sale.

If it were a ground issue, usually it would come out as a "whine" in the radio. You should always ground all components ON THE SAME SCREW/GROUND POINT. (avoid ground loop).
The suggested device is what everyone runs so you should be good.
