quick Zo6 Heads question
Do the C5 Zo6 heads have center-bolt valve covers?
I have a 97 with a stock engine so far. How would swapping my heads for 243 castings affect performance? (will also throw on YT 1.8 roller rockers)

Everything from '99-on is centerbolt.
The 243s should gain you quite a bit. You will need to get centerbolt valvecovers and coil brackets to complete the swap.

Patriot and TSP heads are probably the best bang for the buck. Check LS1 tech and C5 and C6 parts section for some good used ones. Be careful doing the 1.8 rockers. A good cam and hardened pushrods would compliment your heads nicely.
