Jeremy, congrats on the new motor!

When do you think it will be installed and running by?

I can't wait to get my new motah too! I think I will have a very similar setup as you except I am going with the 4.125" crank. I can't wait to hear this cam idle! :D

Jeremy, congrats on the new motor!

I'm not sure, my list of things to do first is growing longer before I put the motor in:

1. I need a LS6 intake (they seem to be in short supply lately and my old one was stolen)
2. I need sensors for the new engine (crank sensor, cam sensor, knock sensors, etc)
3. I need a LS6 MAF
4. I need a LS6 Vortex (or modify my LS1 size)
5. I need a ported throttle body
6. I need bigger injectors (probably going with SVO 42's again)
7. I need LS1 Edit (waiting for LGM to get it or for the locked PCM version)
8. I need headers (getting a set of the LGM SS LT's)
9. I need a clutch and new hydraulics (undecided)
10. I need an underdrive pulley (ASP or possible ATI Dampeneer)
11. I need to save some more $$$ (install cost, parts above, etc.)

Other stuff I still want to do:

1. The big wheels (Fikse FM/5's 18x12 w/345x30x18 and 18x10 w/285x35x18)
2. Custom rear carpet (to accomodate the rollbar and the tubs)
3. New seats (to accomodate the dual five points)
4. Carbon fiber drivetrain parts (torque tunnel and half shafts)
5. New brake system (a Baer kit all around would be nice)
6. Full suspension upgrades (big sway bars, coil overs, etc)
7. Cooling system upgrade (big radiator, oil cooler, tranny cooler, and diff cooler for road rading purposes)

Then of course the cosmetic things...

1. Complete stereo system (I need the tunes!)
2. Custom paint job...

It never ends....

Hopefully I'll have this all done by the end of the year, on my nickel and dime budget. :cry

-Jeremy

The motor is built just as strong as Wade's 422 that went 9.40's on the bottle. It has all the custom tricks in it including a double roller chain, main studs, head studs, ARE head clamping gaskets, nitrous pistons/rings, to deal with the nitrous. However I have no immediate plans to spray it. I will put the car together and tune and tweak it NA for awhile. When I get tired of that I will start to spray it. I will probably start off with a small 100-150 shop, and gradually work my way up to the direct port 300 shot. :) It should be an exciting learning curve for me. I'm just happy I already have the tubs and rollbar done for it.

If anyone wants to donate any of the still needed parts on the above list let me know! ;)

I picked up my Engine Saturday(2/2/02) , that is a Clone to Wades, but was told it would not be that fast on N/A. Did you get a Different Cam, Compression, etc? Just Currious. Good Luck.
