Default Corvette C5 LED Tail Lights Halo Mod Video Tutorial

For anyone who knows who I am....I'm notorious for doing some in depth video tutorials on Corvette C5 mods. I constructed a video with the permission of "TheRadioFlyer" on how to perform this modification. It will include every detail on how to solder the insides from start to finish. I've performed this mod on all 4 of my tail lights with 0 error and 100% freaking awesome results.

You can purchase the tail lights from
http://fiperformance.com/specials.htm

You can purchase the 4x 5pack resistors from
http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2062320

With out further hesitation here is the Corvette C5 LED Tail Lights Halo Mod Video Tutorial also located in my signature.

Hi Guys,

I am one of the largest LED Halo Tail Light distributors here on the forum. Many of the forum members have purchased both their modified and no-modified Halo Tail Lights from me. Also, for those that want pre-modded Halo's, no problem, you have that option now witout having to wait on a group purchase. If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM or email me anytime, thanks.

PS, those xbox mods are amazing, kudos!!

I just completed this mod last night. The lights look great. Thank you for the great instructional video. What should I reseal the lights with? I guess I can use silicone.

I actually used 3M Super Weatherstrip and Gasket Adhesive. It worked very well and dried fast. The lights are back in and look amazing.

Default Tail light mod

Nice video, though a pretoral message of what you were doing would have been helpful, I had to follow the threads back to the forum before I found out the purpose of the mod.

From your night time video it appears that the outer ring is made from one or two light sources and do not appear to be LED's. Do you happen to know what type ande how many lights are involved to produce the outer HALO ring?
I have been thinking about re-doing my rear tail lights with a an led system that I could program for different effects.
If you know of anyone that makes a full LED layout that would also be helpful, or I can always bread-board a set.

Thanks
