Default Oil pressure sender

I'm pretty sure this is the problem on a friends '02 coupe, the gauge reads 80 psi whether the engine is running or not, with the key in the "on" position all the gauges sweep over like normal, but the oil pressure gauge, only drops to about 70 and then slowly climbs back up to 80 without the engine running still.

I also have to replace the check valve behind the drivers head for the A.I.R system while the intake is off, been throwing a check engine light for that for sometime now, so I figure i'll do it while i have the intake off the car.

Also have another problem, that i'm not too sure what it is, i'm thinking it's either the steering position sensor, or the yaw sensor, the service traction control and service active handling stays on all the time, when TC/AH is on it will try to correct the car in a straight line and jerk either to the left or the right, i forget which direction, but it's always the same way.

But other than that, the car has 210,000 miles on it, and is a daily driver and has been since my friend bought it in '01.

Also, are there any detailed instructions for removing the intake to replace the check valve or the Oil pressure sender? i've searched but can't find any.

LS1howto.com has instructions on how to remove the intake manifold.
