Question about tires for Z06 wheels... Please help

I have just purchased a set of replica Z06 wheels,. My question is, the size for the Z06 rear wheel is 18x10.5" can I use my stock 275/40/18-they are brand new. I plan on buying a set of wider tires, but my tires are brand new with less than 50 miles... I just want to make sure that It will not affect the ABS, traction control and tire wear etc... Please let me know if anyone else has delt with this problem... Thanks!!!

The rim width range for a 275/40-18 is 9" to 11". So it will fit to a Z06 rim with 10.5". The normal width is 9.5" as it is on the C5.
The overall diameter will not change in a big way. Another thing is the look of that combination. I read that it doesn´t look too pretty :D :D

Thanks for the info... Is there anyone out there who is using this combo? Does it look that bad? If so, I'll pick up a new set of rear tires... Thanks!!

I think you could have more of a problem in the front because the maximum rim range of the 245/45-17 is 9.5” which is the size of the Z06 front. I just bought a set of GM Z06 wheels and have been struggling with the issues myself so if anyone out there is doing this and running hard, please let us know. Pictures would be nice too. – C.

I just got off the phone with Tire rack... They said that there would be absolutely no problems with the front or rear tires. They mentioned that they do this all the time. I called back 3 times to get three different opinions and they were all the same... It makes me feel a little better anyway... I still would like some input though... Thanks, Kit
