has anyone ever replaced there front scrap spoiler. (the black 3 piece spoilers that are located under the front bumper) Dont know what they are acually called, but I needed a new set so i have one on the way... all 3 pieces. I havent had chance to get under the car and take a look at it. I also purchased the hardware for the replacements. Im assuming that these are new bolts or whatever connects the piecec to the bumper, any insight on what kind of job it is, how they connect and how to do it will be appriciated... Thanks
The center section is held in with two bolts, one on each end, very easy to get to. The end pieces have three or four. Easy job. GM calls the center section an air deflector and the end sections valance pieces (right and left). I sure hope you ordered them from Gene Culley, his price for the center section (deflector) is $68.68 which is a lot less than I've seen elsewhere.
You might want to think about getting the Spoiler reinforcement kit. Part Number 607-033 from Mid-America for $20.00. Your 3-piece spoiler's center piece is spring-loaded and can bounce right back in place, however, the left and right sections are not, which means they could rip off altogether if you hit a bumper block or curb. To alleviate this, Mid America introduces the Spoiler Reinforcement Kit. These black, ABS plastic brackets take the brunt of a bump and prevent bolts from sliding through, keeping your spoiler securely in place. Kit includes one left and one right bracket and installs easily using existing fasteners.
I’ve never had a problem after I got these.

Those reinforcements for the end pieces are cheap.
Tip: Take some hose of the correct inside diameter/length and cut a slit down the side. Slide a piece around each of the two coil springs on the center piece. When it flexes, the springs will be totally silent. Cheap. Easy.
I use those parts from Mid-America as well. I wanted them to pull the ends up as there was a gap there I didnt like. Now the end pieces dont have that sag look.
