steering wheel play...please help
I have about 2 inches of play in my steering wheel. When I look at the steering shaft, under the master cylinder near the firewall there is a coupling. On the firewall side of the coupling the shaft rotates about a quarter to half turn without the lower section moving. The play in the wheel does not seem right nor does the shaft variance rotation.
If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate it. Also if anyone knows a good front end/wheel alignment shop in North Jersey I would appreciate it.
