Z06 window would not roll down, took door panel off (easy) Two star head bolts under the door handle, then just pop the door panel loose by gently sliding a flat head screwdriver between the door and the panel, its held by small straight plastic clips that just pop straight out, then lift panel up and off. Disconnect the window up/down electrical connector, remove Bose speaker 5 or 6 bolts, disconnect electrical connector from speaker, then take the handle end of a screwdriver or small hammer and tap the motor, reconnect the up/ down switch and try it to see if it worked. If not and you can hear the solenoid clicking you probably need a new regulator motor (three bolts holding it in ). Hope this helps.

1.) If the car hasn't been driven for a while/the window hasn't been used, try holding down the switch and tapping with your fist on the outside of the door. Happens pretty often... it just "gets stuck".
2.) If it makes a horrible grinding sound and only goes down part of the way, you probably need a new regulator assembly (the wires break/stretch/separate occasionally (see post above for door disassembly). Held in by four bolts and the door glass. Not too hard to change out, but it takes a little while to get the door glass adjusted right.
