HI every body just want to clarify do C6 Z06 sway bars fit on a c5 .I have been told that they do and do not fit. Please respond I need to pull the trigger by tomorrow.
That's a Big Momma rear bar. It looks so good it must add at least 5 Hp and 1/10 G. I want some! And maybe powder coat the rear one bright red or blue or something.
Ah, mod fever again.

are the c6 z06 sways better than the c6 z51 sways?
Not unless you have tubs and 335 or so rears on your car. If not, the C6Z06 bar set tends to be have a little too much rear bar which can make the rear end step out on you (over steer or loose are the typical racing terms). The C6Z51 are cheaper and will perform very well for you.
Would powdercoating a sway bar weaken it? I'm not VERY familiar with the powdercoating process, but I know enough to know that it goes through a high-heat cycle. And I know what heat can do to metal sometimes...

I think that may be the first time I've ever seen the words "too much" on this forum.

Powder coating does not weaken metal.....it's basically just powdered paint electrically charged/adhered to the metal then oven baked to dry...
