So lets say i want to do a heads and cam upgrade. what is the best for a 99 Z51...?? also i have a NOS set up started on there when i bought the car and they didnt finish it..its the zex system they just dont have it set to the fuel line yet am i suppose to hook it up to the system?? ill post some pics of it... and i have an intake manifold that i have no clue what kind it is ill post a pic of that too lol.. thanks for the help
There really is no single combination that can be defined as the "best." It depends on what you want from the car. How much power are you trying to make vs. how much driveability are you willing to sacrifice vs. you're budget. There will always be trade offs and compromises. I am very happy with my setup, but it would be too much for some, but not nearly enough for others. Others will probably respond, but you really need to give the members an idea on what you are looking for before they can help narrow your choices. Modded Vettes are a ton of fun. Good luck
well im looking for around 500 to 600 rwhp and still be a daily driver. all honesty i just want to kick this 03 cobras *** which is supercharged and has a little more work doing he said he runs low 11's he ran like 7.8 in the 1/8 mile
If you just want to beat that cobra, I would complete the nitrous and see where your at. A 250 wet shot with slicks should put him in your rearview. You probably want to look at hardened output shafts first though.

^^And beef up the drivetrain some like the clutch if you have a manual or the tranny/torque converter is you have an auto.
