Default Drag Radial Question

first of all, will a 315 tire fit on a 9" rim? also can't decide on the nitto's or the bfg's?? not really worried about tread life, all i want is TRACTION!

They will fit but the sidewall will be buckled.. I would rather see them on an 11" rim.. The BFG's hook better then the Nitto's but the Nitto's last a little longer and are better in the wet weather for the drive to the track..Pro's and con's of both..Good luck :seeya

Don't hurt self, Tire Rack recommends 10 - 12 in rim.

I went with the BFG in 315.35.17 mounted on 12" wide wheels. With the rear brake cables tied down, fit is fine. The BFGs seem easier to properly heat, a plus if you don't have/want a line-lock. I have only four runs on mine after figuring out the heating process (1.82, 1.82, 1.79, 1.70). They also stay hooked to the shifts.

The BFGs are normally in shot supply; so if you go that way, buy them during the winter.
