Default oil leak?

Hey guys, new to the forum, I purchased VetteFish's forged/s/c'ed/meth 2001 z06, and just got back to florida with it. The car def. needs a new tune, as my oil pressure is noticeably(sp) higher than it was in cali. So with a apptnmnt set up at a dyno tuner thats close to me, i take the car in for an oil change. The results were kinda strange, I was a quart low, and the undercarriage had an oil slick running from the undercarriage of the engine past the tranny. That obviously got me pretty darn concerned, but there aren't any shops open on the weekend to service it. I'm relieved to know that it being a forged engine, i dont have too much to worry about, but what do you guys think it could possibly be? Shoot any of your ideas for a possible diagnosis, as my roomates and I are taking her to the hobby shop on base this weekend to clean up the undercarriage and leak test it, let me know where I should look!!!
thanks m8's

Update,
My roomate and myself went out and jacked up the side of the car, and see that alot of residue is forming at the gasket on the oil pan. does this make sense with the other circumstances? I mean, if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck then.... ya know? What do you guys think?

Well first things first, check if your oil filter is on tight, second check the drain plug, third vette takes 6.5 quarts of oil maybe the place you went to only put 5 (thats their standard oil change). After that clean the undercarriage and look for a leaks. Good luck

we're takin her into the shop tomorrow so we can clean the undercarriage, the oil was fine all the way across america, until I hit louisiana, The place I took to get the oil changed today, I made extremely clear (almost to the point of insult ) that the car takes exactly 6.5quarts, and to make sure the oil filter was nice and tight,

A friend of mine went to get his jeep worked on tonite, and the guys at that shop said that it could be
A. Rear main seal leak.
B. Something with the supercharger being tied into the oil system??? (i don't know a whole lot about S/C setups, but the car has a Procharger, and a FMIC, so i'm not sure if it's oil cooled as well)
C. An oil pan gasket leak.

Its really just an annoying thing, as with the motor being forged, I'm not too worried about internals being damaged, the car ran fine all the way across America, still does, no discolored oil, or discolored smoke out the rear. The oil temp is a constant 192, and the coolant is a constant 172.
