I recently installed a set of E.T. Performance 2.5 heads and a Torquer 3 cam in my 02 C5. I brought the car to my tuner and he tuned it to where it idles at 900 RPM but my question is when I start the car up it revs to 2800 RPM for about 5-8 seconds. This cant be good for the new springs in the heads can it? What would cause this to rev so high?
The throttle body was taken off and he drilled a 7/32" hole in it.
No offense, but you need to find a new tuner! Drilling a hole in the TB blade is a no-no on an electric actuated TB. The F-body guys do this alot and you can get away with it on a cable type TB, but it don't work very well on the vette!
