LS6 Valve Spring Question
Picked up a set of LS6 243 heads form a GM crate engine for an 04 Z06. Valve springs are bronze color with a yellow stripe. Are these the upgraded LS6 springs that are normally all yellow? I'll just be running a stock 02-04 LS6 cam.

243 Z06 heads come with the yellow springs .

Do a search in the z06 section.. There has been controversy over the stock springs breaking.. Many have the springs replaced for worry sake.. My 02 z06 is just fine and I will just leave it as it is.. The odds of one breaking are very low, but it does happen. I don't know if GM has addressed the problem or not. Probably not.. I thought i would at least post this so you guys know before you start the tear down.. You may reconsider,different springs as they are cheap.. Do a search at least before you move on
