Tom,

Any pictures with the hose kit installed? How much difference in flow/cooling over your kit with AN fittings and steel braided hose? I have one of your original adapter blocks with the bypass valve. It's been working great. I haven't reinstalled on my new engine yet. This one looks like a cleaner install.

Why does it need a bypass valve? Are you talking about a thermostat?

Do you have some kind of schematic showing how the insides are set Up?

Actually it is a 7 psi bypass valve, built right into the adpater. What this does is limit the amount of pressure drop across the cooler and provide a constant flow at any rpm. We are working on a new pdf download on this that show the circuit and explains the concept in detail.

The assembly above is all you need. This is designed for left (driver) side only, which what GM did on C6 Corvettes. Many will argue about this being the hotter side of the radiator, which is true, but oil is much hotter than either side of the radiator and it works very well.

You can see more with download C5 EOC
