I have a convertible. Two or three years ago, I velco'd it the little black plastic flap cover behind the drivers left side. Its the cover the opens when the hinge goes to theroof operates. Its still there and works great and hard to see because its black on black. It works fine with the top up, but 98% of the time, I have the top down. Since it's portible, I have the craddle unit in the center console. Also take note that I toasted one MYFI unit in the center console. You can see it in the below picture between the door and the fuel door right highlighted with the grey seat in the background
