Default DeWitts Group Purchase

Many people have told me they are holding out for a sale, so here it is.

1. You get 10% discount off any radiator or combination kit
2. Free shipping to 48 states
3. You must purchase from the website to receive this special
4. Enter the letters CFGP somewhere in your name line to qualify

IE John CFGP Doe

International customers are eligible to receive the discount but must pay freight. Our order form is designed for USA address format but you can fudge the real address into the fields and just pick Michigan for the state.

NOTE: The website has automatic order acknowledgement and this will not show the discounted price or the free shipping. DO NOT CALL TO QUESTION THIS! We will ID all orders by the CFGP and apply the discount on our end, you will not be charged the acknowledge amount.

http://www.dewitts.com

Sale ends March 15th 2009

Is the 10% already figured in on the site?

No, those are list prices. The 10% comes off of that.

Tom - I'd like to get the C5 Radiator ('99 6Spd) with EOC on the passenger side. But your site has me scratching my head:

A97ER - "The A97ER model features a 7-plate aluminum Engine Oil Cooler mounted on the right (passenger) side"

A97EL - "The A97EL model features a 7-plate aluminum Engine Oil Cooler (EOC)mounted on the left (passenger) side"

So which one is it - which one has the oil cooler on the passenger side?

Also - could you tell us how many feet of oil line we need for your passenger side EOC?

Thanks, I've been waiting for this sale!

Thanks, nobody ever spotted that before but it's fixed/

My recommendation is to go with the A97EL (Driverside) model. The reason I suggest this is for a couple reasons. The right side requires the hoses to be much longer, more expensive, and it's not as clean of an installation. I know that is the cooler of the two sides but it really doesn't matter when doing oil cooling. Heat will transfer regardless if you are 220 on the left and 200 on the right. GM did all C6 EOC's on the left side and they worked fine. The left is a much shorter distance and a cleaner install but more importantly the left is where you can use our #898 hose assembly with a 7 psi bypass. I personally wouldn't do oil cooling without a bypass. The #898 hose assembly is about 1/2 the cost of doing it with conventional AN fittings and stainless hose and it will work much better because with a bypass you will have a constant flow of oil through the cooler regardless of engine rpm.

I bought a radiator with left side EOC and the installation kit during the last GP. I really like the look of the new EOC line kit. Much easier to route those lines vs. -10AN.

Two questions. Do adaptors come with the new line kit to adapt the hard lines to the threaded fittings on my radiator? Would the discount apply if I just order the #898 line kit?

Been trying to create an account on the website and it keeps telling me it is an incorrect or invalid email. Tried twice, same results. Something wrong with the system?

Really want to buy per your instructions on the website but it won't let me.

looking at this, but have a few questions:
A01AE — C5 Radiator w/ both EOC & TOC — Availability: In Stock

Would this be a problem with an automatic? Will this hold up to roadracing or would you suggest another external tranny cooler along with the radiator?
What other items are needed from your website for the install?

Yes we supply two quick connect fittiings with the assembly. Everyone should know, you will have to unbolt the motor mount and jack up the engine to get this assembly in but I think it's worth the effort to get the bypass valve.

Yes the sale would be for the eoc assembly but since you already have the ss lines, I think I would just leave it there.

Sometimes you might hit a space bar or mis-spell something in the password and it keeps knocking you out for that reason. I'd try to create an account again using a new password and if you have one a different email address. Just get careful with the typing. You might also try hitting the enter key or the space bar as your password. That's been 90% of the errors. If it never works for you, you can email the information to christyn@dewitts.com

No problem with the Automatic, that's why we made it. Our cooler is a 7 plate aluminum and the stock unit was only a 3 plate.

Since you are going to have a left side eoc, I'd get the #898 hose kit.

No, we have the aluminum at the laser shop. The website says 2-3 weeks but I think we'll beat that

FMI, have you ever used this setup on a Supercharged car before? Second question is will this bolt onto my BeCool radiator?

The photo you posted is a C6 radiator and fan package and it won't fit a C5. Whay you want the the aluminum shroud version just above. That one will fit anyones radiator, providing they designed it with the stock fan mounting tabs. See below, we just built a number of c5 radiators for superchargers with a lower core and we modified the aluminum shroud to match so you had more to bring the air duct over the top.
