Default MAF too small

So Im putting on a Tony Mamo ported Fast 90 intake and a ported 90 mm throttle body. Considering my car is an 02 Z06 dont they have a screenless maf measuring at 85mm? If so then doesnt it seem stupid to keep it because it will be my restriction. Is there any advantage of going to a larger maf to the tune of say a 90mm to match what I have? I def dont want none of those 100mm or whatever else 100 plus sizes that are out there.
This is going on my Forged 402, PRC stage 1 heads, STS running hopefully 13 lbs of boost.

U have forged 402, FAST, STS turbo's, .....there's no point running MAF i assuming u will be making power way over 600 Rwhp, so go SD tune and get rid of MAF. Ask the question in FI section, lots of em making stupid power there.

Considering I'm in Texas I have to meet emissions testing so if possible I would like to stay legal but like anything....you can always get by with a little extra money..LOL

I'd be more concerned about running a FAST with 13psi.

Your best bet is to ditch the MAF and go Speed Density. The problem with larger MAF meters is the stock computer can only read so much. With a bigger MAF you just peg what the computer can read max faster.

Find someone that knows how to tune a MAF and keep it. Ive made 700+ RWHP with an 85mm maf and Ive seen another 50 cars making 650 - 850 with boost on the stock MAF.
