Transmission fluid
My C5Z is at the shop getting its leaking transmission fixed. The guy is going to change my fluid obviously, and I was wondering if there's a specific type you guys run for the track? I track my car for HPDEs every month or so; is there a specific fluid I should have him put in?

I track (autocross & HPDE) my car regularly also. I've been using the MOBIL 1 synthetic ATF for the past two years. Even at elevated temperatures the transmission always shifts smoothly.

I wouldn't go w/ Amsol synthetic. I tried it after a rebuild and it was too thick - made the shift points jerky when cold. It may be great for the track - I dunno. All I know is that when I went back to conventional ATF, it was a lot smoother around town.
