M12x1.75 part number 11515744. I'm pretty sure that it is a high strength flange type nut so a hardware store nut may not be upto the task.

I thought it was a bolt that went through the endlink and into the A-arm?

Not sure what you are asking then, the end links will have a threaded portion that will attach to the lower A-arm and the sway bar, and the threads on those are 12x1.75. There are no separate bolts, they are part of the endlink, each is part of a moveable joint on the end link.

Is your end link broken? If so I’d just buy a new one.

Instead of buying the high dollar ss hyme joint endlinks from PFADT or one of the other vendors, i was pricing making my own from McMaster carr, or one of the other wholsesale vendors we do a lot of buisness with. I Just need to knwo the bolt size so i can get a sholder bold for it and have it ground to the right diameter.

Thanks for the help

As Mattb said there are no bolts on the end links more like a ball joint with a nut on it he gave you the size of the nut.

I am trying to figure out (without taking my car apart) what kind of fastener i am going to need to attach a set of hyme joints to my a-arms and sway bar.
Basically is the hole in the a-arm threaded or is it just a through hole. Is the nut there as a backup?

Its just a hole. I think the nut is high strength.

Why not just get the GM metal end links and call it a day? $25 each from Gene, #25932329

Old versions of the hemi joints were very noisey, so much so it makes you think that something is broken. I tossed my front Hotchkis ones and put on the GM ones and they work great. I'd be a little concerned that any exposed hemi joint would make noise after some time. But, I'm definately not an expert on the joints.
