I have chrome exhaust tips that have LED lights around them. Well I started off down the road this morning and noticed that 3 out of 6 were working. What could be the problem? The lights are on a circuit board.
There are some current disadvantages to LED lighting:
* LEDs are currently more expensive than more conventional lighting technologies, and may be hard to locate
* LED are very heat sensitive. Excessive heat or inappropriate applications dramatically reduce both light output and lifespan

Cause people will buy them.
Can you get the light apart so you can get to the backside where they soldered them to the board? If so I'd try hitting all the connections with a soldering iron. Worth a shot. My tail lights lost a strip of 4 and it was a bad joint. After I resoldered them they have worked flawlessly ever since.
