04 ZO6 MAF Screen
I had my 04 ZO6 tuned by Chuck @CoW yesterday, BTW..this you should do if you get a chance.DAMM the car is completely diffrent to drive Chuck is a true guru...but I digress
We had a small problem chasing a gremlin in my set up..we had a small knock at WOT and c/n figure what it was because it didnt show up on the EFLive software....
We removed the MAF and noticed that the MAF had no screen...
My question is this..I have this rememberance, that the 04 ZO6 came from the factory normally..is this right..
BTW the problem turned out that my my MAF was a bit dirty and that was screwing things up...CLEAN YOUR MAF's guys.....

I have to look into that.....
I have to look into that..... I can't (remember sh*t) remember off the top of my head, but...seems strange for GM to do that....
Personally, I'd rather one was there.
Anyway, although the MAF didn't "LOOK" dirty..... cleaning it revealed a change in color of one of the little sensor wires....
A good spray down with an evaporative spray cleaner (such as MAF sensor cleaner) and all problems vanished!
Keep it CLEAN!
