Default FS: Michelin PS2s driven only 3K miles!

Guys,

I have a 2004 C5 and am looking to sell a complete set of four Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. These tires were driven approximately 3,000 easy miles.

Brand new, from Tire Rack they cost me $1,340 plus tax and they were worth every penny. Make me an offer, I'm sure we can work something out for hundreds less! All reasonable offers will be considered

The front tire size is 265/40ZR-17...Cost $269 each brand new (plus tax)

The rear tire size is 295/35ZR-18...Cost $401 each brand new (plus tax)

For those of you that aren't familiar with Tire Rack they offer excellent deals and have customer surveys on each tire category. I just checked and the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 are still rated #1 overall for performance tires. The ratings are submitted by individuals like you and I (if you click the link below you will see that the individuals who have rated these tires and submitted reviews drove almost 8 million miles on them, so we're not talking about a few reviews).

Here is a detailed description of the tires...

I'm looking to sell because I'm dropping in a brand new LS3 crate engine, adding a blower cam, and A&A Vortech supercharger (so I'll be in the market for some Mickey Thompsons).

Thanks to all that have sent me a PM.

The Vette is at the Vette Doctors in Amityville, NY, so I don't have the ability to run outside and take photos right now. However, I can call them on Monday and ask them to measure the remaining thread life, if you like.

They are standard C5 Z06 sizes. I run them on my C5 Coupe.

Looks like these are an unbelievable deal. Currently three bidders.

Anyone else interested?

Some bidders have asked if I can sell my C5 Z06 replica wheels as well, which I originally intended to keep. That way they can save on having the tires mounted and balanced.

The cheapest place I found these wheels was on ebay for $665 (no tax and includes shipping). Since my wheels are 1 year old with three thousand miles on them, if you want them in addition to the tires, I could let my wheels go for $565.

Thanks for alerting me to the forum rules.

The first person who offers $950 for all four tires and either picks them up in Amityville, NY or pays for shipping gets them. Two bidders are both currently at $900 (one offered to pick them up, the other didn't confirm if they will pay for shipping).

Additionally, the first person who takes the deal on all four tires can also have the C5 Z06 replica wheels for an additional $565. You do not have to buy the wheels to get the deal on the tires. My intent has always been to keep the wheels but one of the bidders inquired about the wheels because they would save on mounting and balancing.

This needs to be in the parts section where you already have a thread for your tires.
