diff swap
1st question is did all 6spd cars come with 3.42 grears?
2nd ? is a diff from a 98 6spd a direct swap with a 97 auto?
3rd any common problems I should be concerned with in doing swap?
4th what's a good priced for a 3.42 diff with 70,000 miles on it?

Nope, just need new oil and may be seals if old is bad.
Iam sure after 2002 all 6 spd gears came 3 rib, If its from Z06 than may be 500-600 otherwise 300-500 depends on seller, also 02-04 Z06 came with 3 rib which are stronger than 01 Z06. Some 01 Z has 3 rib case, mine does have 3 rib (lucky me).
