Default DRL question. Need help quickly!!!!!!!!!!

My DRL on the driver's side went out.

The parking lamp still works, but the DRL is completely out.

When turn on the left turn signal, the rear flash fast and the front not at all.

Is there a bulb to replace the DRL or does the whole unit have to come out? It look like I could just replace the bulb for the DRL and it will work.

I guess everyone is busy on a saturday night

At any rate, the search function is most certainly a great tool to use.

I'd like to personally thank forum member DeeGee. He posted up the way to replace the DRL bulb in this thread:

His instructions were impeccable!!!!! I can't believe the owner's manual directs you to go the dealer to replace the DRL or front parking lamp bulbs

At any rate, this is why I LOVE CF

They should make access to daytime running lights a sticky

Its simple to replace the lamp and in fact, replace both of them while you're at it. In my case, when I replaced the ones in my '99 more than once over the years, I simply removed the hood adjuster there next to the headlamps. My arm would go down between there and the headlamp giving me access to the lamps.
