One HID light won't work
Installed HID's now the passenger ligth won't go on the first time. If I turn them off then turn them back on they both go on. Have installed the resistor so wonder if anyone knows what the problem may be.

Just replace it with a 10 as original. I replaced mine once in a year. Was it blown?

Be careful when upgrading fuses. If the wire gauge is only rated for 10a, and the utlitizing device shorts a flow of current could be drawn greater than the wire rating, possibly exposing the wire to the 20a fuse limit. It could melt the wire, or cause a fire.

No the fuses and the connections are all secure. Strange that once I have them on if I flash the lgths to high beam and then to low the light works. Any other suggestions.

Here's a crazy question. Is your motor running when you try turning on the light? This is an issue I have with mine if the motor isn't running.

It happens when I turn the car on and the lights come on automatically.

I had the same problem. I ended up adding a relay and running dedicated power to the battery. First try swapping ballasts and bulbs side-to-side.
