Whine @ Highway Speed

2003 AE with 28K on the clock. I am noticing (now that I don't have RF's) that there is a bit of whine at highway speeds. I seem to remember a bit of tranny whine from my 94 Trans Am GT (LT1) so I am wondering if this is normal.

My shimming was off in my diffs (gear upgrade) and only whined at anything over 60. So MAYBE that might be the problem. It was mine...Does it stop when you left off the gas?

Yes, it does quit when I let off the gas.

Mine used to whine until I got off the gas too.
Now I leave the wife at home.

lol, I have a gf but she doesnt whine in the car...I would diagnose your gears. Thats where mine was like I said. What about a whine when you turn at slower speeds (0mph-20mph) Another sign that I had

Mine is most noticed at highway speeds and under cruise-load. When I lift it stops. It is not the same sound as a diff going out, not nearly that loud. But it still bothers me !!
