I have a 2002 C5 vette without ride control. Does anyone know if this was this offered as an option on only certain years and did it come on the Z06 cars also? Another question is does all C5's come with the factory harness to install ride control or does everything have to be install extra.

The F45 Selective Ride Control was available on 97-02 C5s. It was not available with either the Z51/FE3 Sport Suspension or the FE4 /Z06 suspension. As far as I know, the harness and computer were not installed in non F45 cars. After 02 (03-04) the F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control system replaced the F45. While it has a similar selector switch with only 2 positions on the console, it is a totally different and much better system. IMHO the F45 system is not worth the cost or trouble to trying adding it on.
In your glove box you will have all of the codes for the car including the suspension. Base is FE1, Z51 = FE3, z06 = FE4, Selective ride = F45 and Mag. selective = F55
These codes are also on the factory window sticker and build sheet (both can be ordered though the corvette museum if you want them).
