How do these things help??? What would an ordinary mortal like me notice if I installed polyurethane motor mounts?

Not sure about the motor mounts, but I have replaced several trans mounts with the "heavy duty" ones. You will probably have more noticable vibration, and I'll bet there a pia to install, unless of course that you really need to do it. I am also interested in more feed-back.

I believe that those are from VBP. I seem to remember seeing those in their catalog.

"Smoove" aka Jamie has those on his car. I would not recommend them for an everyday driver.

Back in the day I ran solid motor mounts in my '69 chevelle with a big block running 425hp. There was alot of flex in the front end and I would not subject the vette to what I put the chevelle through.
