Hey guys. I have a few questions if you don't mind answering. I have a 1987 C5 Corvette that has died on me. The car was runnning perfect, then one time I stopped driving it for about a week. One day I had to move it, so I try to start it and nothing. I charged the battery, and it cranked over, but not enough juice. So I went out and bought a whole new battery because the current one was really old. So I poped that one in, and nothing. So I gave up for a while. Then I tried it like 2 weeks later and it completly doesn't work. It doesn't even crank over. I tried manually turning the crank pully, and it didn't budge. I took the starter off and tested it, and it was perfect. So I put it back on and then tried taking all the spark plugs out, and trying it. Nothing. I'm afraid it's froze but thats the last thing I want to think . Do you guys have any suggestions? Please help me!
Not trying to push you off, but vettes are a little tempermental and seem to have problems based on the model. C5's for instance have a hunger for correct voltage that can cause all kinds of problems. If you have a 1987 model, you have a C4. I would try posting for help here. >> http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-tech-performance-48/
Your questions sound a little "phony". How did you "manually turning the crank pully"? Who waits "So I gave up for a while. Then I tried it like 2 weeks later and it completly doesn't work." ?
You also posted this in the C4 section?! SO, you know your way around forums, but don't know what car you have? BTW, you listed it as a C4 in the C4 section.
I notice you are "brand new" here, are you a "troll"?
