After I finished my radio install, my parking brake doesn't fully clear the teeth that hold it up. I can feel/hear it hitting the teeth as I bring it down. Before I go tinkering with stuff, can I use this link to fix the problem.
Open the console up and look! What does your radio and your parking brake have to do with each other?? Did you remove the console to run wirung??
I did. It probably isn't related to the radio though. I'll likely take it apart and look at the release trigger. It sticks out a lil' further than I think it should. Also, right now, it's getting slightly harder to bring the lever down as it's hitting the teeth now. I got to give it a lil force to get completely down.
Here's an updated. I had to take the passenger seat out and remove the center console. The parking lever is actually clearing the teeth, but mechanism clearing the teeth is hitting a wall inside the lever. If I left off the trigger a little bit and not press it all the way, it won't hit anything.
