Default New plugs and wires - nice!

After reading the various posts, I finally decided to upgrade the plugs and wires. I went with the NGK TR55 gapped at .060 and the Magnecor performance wires. I did buy the Snap-on swivel socket as recommended and VERY glad I did. Jog went pretty smoothly. The advice of "taking my time" was good advice. Anyway, I love the results. The rough idle is pretty much gone and it just seems smoother and less strained under hard acceleration (if this makes sense). I think it was worth it and would recommend to any considering this move.

I put on the same set up a couple of weeks ago. The kewlbreez "how to" was a great help. I didn't get the Snap-on socket, but used a Craftsman swivel plug socket on a swivel-head ratchet to get the double swivel joint. Really helps on that #7 plug.
I got the wires ($70) and plugs $2 ea) from Thunderracing.com. They were fast and got the order right.

Got them from Thunderracing.com for $69.99. Also got the NGKs from them at $1.95 ea.

Good luck, I think you'll be happy with them.

I got the wires for $67 from horse power store.com. I went with the new NGk 55IX (iridiums) and my idle is much smoother.

I just replaced the plugs after seeing KR on the Dyno last week.

O'Reilly Auto Parts had the NGKs for $1.69/Each.

I agree, idle is smoother.
