Passenger Window Does Not Work Sometimes

Is there a known problem with the passenger side window? I have notice it does not function properly by refusing to roll up or down on several occasions. I took it to the dealer but of course he can find nothing wrong when I take it to him

I have the same prob. It only did it once, and then worked since :confused:

I've had the problem a few times on the driver's side... I just beat the inside of the door a few times and it rolled down.

Mine did that once also and I fixed it simply by opening and closing the door. I also noticed that the volt meter dropped slightly when this happened telling me that the window motor was definately drawing amperage. I was thinking since my passenger door and window rarely gets used that maybe it was slightly stuck against the weather stripping.

Yup. There have been posts about this before. It is usually the passenger side, since it doesn't get as much use as the driver side and use actually is good for it. I had the window motor replaced on warranty about a year ago. I try to remember to lower and raise the passenger window a couple of times each week. To my knowledge, there is no TSB on this.

I have had this same problem, what i found was the power connector connected to the motor was full of white grease, what i did was remove the door panel and there is a one inch hole covered with a black sticky tape if you pull this off you can see the connector with one hand inside the door and a screw driver pushing on the clip you can remove it. use contact cleaner and clean both sides of the clip and the part it plugs into, did this a week ago with no problems as of yet,I think it was losing power here, and when some people hit or close the door it would work for a while, this plug is near the speaker where people said they would hit it so this is working for mo so far
