MGW / Options...
Does anyone know if MGW is still offering the 15% version? I called but George is out today.
I saw a video of the MGW 30% that Kurtomac posted on here and I'm not sure I want that short of a throw. It may sound silly, but I like a bit of throw. It let's me feel like I'm hammering the gears...If that makes sense.

Don't think so...
when I purchased mine, the 30% shorter throw was the only one available. I personally love the throw of the 30% reduction, but if you only wanted the 15% I don't think it's still available.

I wanted to write and update those that may be interested in another option for the C5 MGW Shifter...
I talked to George today and told him I was looking for a longer throw than that of the 30% model. They do not offer the 15% "daily driver" model any longer because the new model is easier to shift than the previous 30% model. However, there is one option as long as you are willing to keep the stock shifter height. George can sell an "extra long" C5 (and I assume C6) shaft that will actually increase the throw approximately 7%. It provides a bit more "leverage" than the regular 30%.
So...The synopsis is that if you don't mind the stock shifter height, there is an option for you! Just make sure to let them know when you place the order...No extra cost for this option.
Hope someone finds that info.' useful...! By the way, great service and technical information from George at MGW!
