Bearings

Advice Please. This is probably going to be the dumbest post of the month, however, please bear with me. At 95,000 miles, while the Oil Pan is dropped, I plan to inspect the bearings. Would it not be a given that the Mains would be worn at the same rate as the other bearings, or is there some generally unknown metallurgical engineering marvel that gives the Mains a longer life?
Additionally, has anyone yet ben able to get their hands on a Weiland Intake from Australia? Regards, GRT

If it works - don't fix it. The lower end of these LS engines is bulletproof till you get huge N2O or some wild parts.
You'll shorten the life span by not getting the rod bolts retorqued correctly.
As to your question, I believe the mains have much more strength and longevity. Larger journals, primary oiling, also 6 bolt caps.
