C6Z output shaft, how strong?

Default C6Z output shaft, how strong?
Just grenaded my rear on my C5, and I am thinking about doing an RPM stage I rear diff. Only thing is that their drivers side shaft is a C6Z shaft, not a 300m shaft. I know its stronger than the C5 shaft because it doesnt look like a dumbbell, but how strong is it? The rear with the 300m shaft is almost a grand more

I spoke with RPM on this...they said theyve never seen one in their shop that had broke
