All right heres what i got 98 c5 vert, mail order tune 3.90 gear ss3200 stall vararam 160 stat alxe back exhaust. Got headers but not installed yet, so heres my problem this flipping thing feels sick to me. So where did i go wrong. I haven't had it to the track yet, so what should i expect to run. I mean it will spin pretty bad but all in all it just feels sick. help me out, could my tune be off that bad or are some of these car just slow.

Do you mean sick as in BAD? Your tune should take in consideration the vararam too... 12.50.s or so at trac. just depends on you 60' times. If you can get under 12.50's? you will need drag radials or forget it.IMO... GET THE HEADERS ON ASAP!!!
I would still get it dyno tuned,,,

you should of felt quite a bit of a difference with gears and the stall. Get those headers on and get a local tune so that they can check everything out. It shouldn't be slow under any means with these mods. Unless ur used to driving high hp cars.

IMHO mail order tunes are hit or miss and most of the time they are a miss, you need a proper dyno tune with correct a/f ratio tuned around YOUR paticular mods.

your a 98 A4 w/ only really one power mod the intake. the gears will help down low but an auto w/ a stall shifts so much smoother that the speed feels really linear. your car will maybe trap 107-108 not blistering by any means so get the headers on and that will help you a lot. and a mail order tune is not going to add really anything on a basically stock car.
