Headlight motor won't stop buzzing!
I just bought a 2003 50th Anniversary Roadster with only 26K miles on it. I checked everything out before I bought it, and it all worked. When I got home the headlight come on ok but when I shut them off they close but there is a loud buzzing coming from I think the right hand light. Is there a shut off relay that is out of adjustment and if so where?

Sounds like the plastic gears that raise/lower the light assembly are worn out. Pretty easy fix. But u gotta take your headlight motor apart and install a new gear. Might want to upgrade to a brass(i think its brass, its metal i know) gear. Look at the sticky at the top- Weights Measures etc. It has info on this!

I just purchased a C5 and experienced the same thing.
I haven't fixed mine yet, but I'm almost certain it is a worn gear. My '89 did the same thing. Those gears just don't last long.
