Traction Control, default to "off"??

Traction Control, default to "off"??
Is there a way to make the traction control "off" as the default whenever I start up the car?
I'm getting my TNT wet kit install finished and I don't want the traction control to activate when I run it. Obviously if it did and as a result cut off the gas flow my engine would suddenly be running VERY lean. I don't want to forget to shut it off and have a blown engine. That's one bill I'd like to avoid.
Any help would be appreciated!
