Driveline coupler, stock rubber,poly, solid, HELP!! PROS CONS
NOISE IN DRIVETRAIN car coming apart suspect couplers maybe bad want to have on hand couplers .Totally confused by choices know they're pros & cons W/stock, poly, solid and combos of solid/poly.If anybody has any experience,knowledge or can point me in the right direction car in question 03 Z/06 390 RWHP minor bolt ons had occaisional wheel hop suspect that caused damage working on that also any suggestions on that PLEASE chime in

I went with rubber in front and al in rear. Pretty much std from rr section. I only changed mine because I was doing the clutch and am hoping it won't be back out for a while. Recommended not to do al for front and rear as it doesn't allow enough flex. Good luck.

I would seriously consider getting 2 aluminum ones and some shim washers. Shim the bolts on the couplers until the shaft turns true. If you get a rubber coupler make sure it looks like the GM one and is the same hard rubber as the GM one.
