Default P0128 Code

I had the SES light come on yesterday P0128( Below thermostat regulating Temp) I reset it with my hand held. I just installed LGs last week,I thought for sure it would be an 02 code, Don't know whats up with the P0128 code.

Are you running a 160 degree stat? If yes and air temps are low car sometimes needs to be warmed up while standing to operating temps. I've gotten the same code when I haven't sufficently warmed the car up on cold days, using a 160 stat.

I had the same problem in Colorado a few years ago. Even with OATs in the high 80's the coolant temps would fall to 150's on long down hill runs (55-60 mph and 5th gear on 6-speed). Kind of annoying sometimes but not a big deal.
