Default Power window question

Is there a way to glue the two clamps on the bottom of the window that bolts into the door without having to buy the whole window? my window is in perfect shape with tint...my power window motor went at the track and Because you need to have both windows open, I took it out for the day, and when trying to put the window back in the clamps fell of the bottom of the window....anyone with similar issues? Or any help please

Your question is not clear.
The clamps that hold the glass in should stay on the window regulator assembly when you pull the glass out of the door.
Sometimes the rubber pads in the clamps stick to the glass over time, and they come out with the glass, but I think they actually come from the factory glued onto the clamp, not the glass.

You should be able to loosen the clamps, slide the glass out, and then tighten the clamps back with the rubber pads still in the clamps to keep them from rattling.

It seems like it would only make it harder to get the glass out if the clamps were attached to the glass.

You are right, I had the glass reinstalled... but before the clamps where stuck to the glass when taking out the window, so I thought when they fell off they needed to be reattached, but my mechanic took care of it...thanks

Next time you remove the glass, don't take the bracket bolts completely out of the window regulator. You just need to loosen the clamps to slip the glass out.
